New Set of elements for assembly of Shedder V2.1, formed by:

• AISI 304 STAINLESS Steel laser cut parts for Shredder V2.1, Rev 3, according to Precious Plastic assembly specifications. With our Rev2 of the original design, we have eliminated the errors in the number of parts and have also made some small improvements to the design to make it easier to assemble.

• Stainless steel shaft, per Precious Plastic specifications.

• 2 UCFL-204 Bearings for Grinder Assembly

• Bolts & nuts, in AISI 304 stainless steel.

To assemble the Shredder, you will have to carry out several operations, you are not a "lego". Please see assembly instructions.

With the above products you would NOT get the complete shredder. In order to have the complete mincer, you would need the following elements;

• Filling hopper.

• Support bench.

• Electric motor. Precious Plastic recommends a 380V 2.2Kw three-phase motor

• Motorgear

• Coupling between reducer and shaft

• Sieve

• Electrical and control elements.

Also indicate that the pieces are supplied directly from the laser cut, so it is necessary to sand them. Cinic Drills and welds required are not included.

COUPLING

To adapt the shaft of the Shredder to the shaft of the gearbox, we recommend using a flexible coupling;

Increased security; 

In case of jamming, the shaft will slip on the coupling, avoiding unwanted and dangerous over-tensioning.

The coupling includes a keyway (only for users with advanced mechanical knowledge).

Extend the life of your Shredder

reduces small misalignments in shaft alignment with the gearbox, thereby reducing vibrations and fatigue stresses.

Improve efficiency

the motor will work more evenly, reducing surges in power consumption.
