Set of elements for assembly of Shredder V2.1, consisting of:
Precious Plastic specifies stainless steel, we alternatively offer the same product in regular steel, at a lower cost than stainless steel.
To assemble the shredder, you will have to carry out several operations, not a "lego" . Please check the assembly instructions.
VARIANTS
You can choose from several variants with the kit
--> We have a variant, where you can order our ‘Evolution Shaft’. Based on the original Precious Plastic design, we have modified it by removing the excess and adding a keyway (key included).
-- A variant with 4 Conic Drill holes is also available. This operation is essential for the assembly of the machine. Where the head of the conical screws are inserted. You can decide whether you do it yourself or we send it to you already made.
--> We have a variant where the sieve holes D= 8 mm (e = 1,5 mm, 149x149 mm) or with
--> the sieve with holes D= 4 mm ( e = 1,5 mm , 149x149 mm).
We also supply the different elements individually, according to your requirements.

With the above products you would NOT get the complete shredder. In order to have the complete grinder, you would need the following items;
Also indicate that the pieces are supplied directly from the laser cut, so it is necessary to sand them. Conic Drill and necessary welds are not included.

In this section, you can find all the technical documentation of our product, "Shredder V2.1 Regular Steel".
All our pieces are made of S235 Regular Steel (or similar, depending on availability).
In rev3, we've made small changes to the designs, fixing small bugs and improving the original blueprints to facilitate better fit between the different components.
All parts are manufactured using laser cutting technology.
This technology makes it possible to manufacture parts with a high quality/finish, at the same time as with at excellent tolerances.
2. REGULAR STEEL SHAFT
Shafts according to the original design of Precious Plastic, manufactured with F-112 (or F-114) regular steel, using CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) technology.
This technology allows the shafts to be manufactured with a great finish and excellent manufacturing tolerances.
As a variant we have our "Evolution Shaft".

All our screws, manufactured with a quality 8.8 or 10.9 (EN ISO 898-1), having zinc, galvanized or blued finishes, thus offering great resistance and durability.

ADVICES
In this section, we provide a series of recommendations and tips.

COUPLING
To adapt the shaft of the Shredder to the shaft of the gearbox, we recommend using a flexible coupling;
Increased security;
In case of jamming, the shaft will slip on the coupling, avoiding unwanted and dangerous over-tensioning.
The coupling includes a keyway (only for users with advanced mechanical knowledge).
Extend the life of your Shredder
reduces small misalignments in shaft alignment with the gearbox, thereby reducing vibrations and fatigue stresses.
Improve efficiency
the motor will work more evenly, reducing surges in power consumption.
