A5 SheetPress Mould
Mould designed for SheetPress, to mould A5 size sheets (210 mm x 148 mm), 4 mm thick.
- Made from 4 mm thick AISI 304 stainless steel, offering exceptional strength and durability.
- Perfect for producing recycled plastic sheets used in A5 notebook covers, machining blanks, and more.
- The mould is engineered for simple, intuitive use—no complex setup required.
- You’ll only need a heat source that distributes heat evenly and to press down the top piece, part “05. TOP”
- You can use a jack press, or a homemade book press style press, etc.
- All components fit neatly into their slots, making assembly and disassembly of the mold quick and hassle-free.
- The design features multiple screws, wing nuts, and slotted holes to speed up molding and demolding tasks—though in many cases, they’re not strictly necessary
- Easily adaptable to your specific SheetPress model (custom adaptation not included).
- The mould includes 7 parts.
If you’d like a different design, simply swap out the center piece while reusing the other six—saving on costs. Feel free to request custom configurations: a circle for a wall clock? A rectangle for producing bars? We’re happy to help.
No welding is required to use the mold (weld-free design).
The mold includes 7 parts + 10 screws and 10 nuts.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Make sure all parts are disassembled before starting
Step 2
Insert the two “03. Long Side” pieces into the two “04. Short Side” pieces.
Step 3
Insert the assembled frame into part “02.A5”
Step 4
Insert the assembled unit into part “01. Down” and fasten it using the screws and nuts.
Simple and ready to use.
Designed to hold shredded plastic for subsequent compression and fusion.
- Once the mould is assembled, pour the shredded plastic into the opening of part “02.A5”, then cover it with part “05. Top”.
- Adapting the mold to your SheetPress is very easy—just make sure your machine applies even pressure across the moud and part “05. Top”
- Depending on your machine, this can be done using, for example, a square metal tube or similar setup
- Once removed from your SheetPress, simply disassemble the mold—and your plastic sheet is ready !
MEASUREMENTS
REQUIERED AMOUNT OF PLASTIC
In the following table, we calculate the amount of plastic (in grams) required for our SheetPress A5 mold. This will depend on the density of the material used. For example, if you use PP (polypropylene), its density typically ranges between 1.58 g/cm³ and 1.04 g/cm³. These are approximate values. We have excluded PVC due to its hazardous nature.
