Marine world injection moulds

Marine world injection moulds

Set of 6 stainless‑steel moulds for  injection machines

The Marine World collection includes six stainless‑steel injection moulds inspired by ocean animals. They are ideal for producing recycled‑plastic keychains, educational items and small decorative pieces.

All moulds are made from AISI 304 stainless steel and are fully compatible with the Mediterranean Series. If you already own any mould from that series, you do not need to purchase the Top or Bottom Plate again, reducing costs.

Moulds Included

Stainless Steel A2 (AISI 304) bolts and nuts system for quick opening and closing

Special design of the slotted screw holes for faster assembly/disassembly

Not suitable for use with the extruder.

We recommend using one or more support points under the down plate to extend the life of the mould.

🔩 Top and Down Plates (Optional)

If you already own any mould from the Mediterranean Series, you can reuse your existing plates.

For new customers, we offer:

  • Down Plate — 150 × 150 mm, 6 mm thick

  • Top Plate — 150 × 150 mm, 6 mm thick, with plastic‑entry hole

Both plates include stainless‑steel screws and butterfly nuts.

Designed for high durability and full compatibility across all moulds in the series.

📏 Dimensions & Compatibility

The Mediterranean Series is designed as a modular system, allowing you to interchange components and reduce production costs.

All moulds share:

150 × 150 mm format

Universal Top and Bottom Plates

Optional Standard Inlet (8 mm) or Conic Drill Inlet

🧪 Approximate Plastic Amount

We provide an estimated amount of plastic (in grams) required to fill each mould, depending on the density of the material used.

Example: PP (Polypropylene) density ranges from 1.3 to 1.58 g/cm³, which affects the total amount needed.

Note: Estimates do not include the material inside the nozzle. PVC is excluded due to health and environmental risks.

🛠️ Tips

Plastic Inlet

Precious Plastic Capi Spain, recommends the Conic Drill plastic inlet option.

According to feedback from our clients and friends, using threaded inlets requires more time and effort. The plastic that remains in the threads cools down and solidifies, making it very difficult to remove before the next molding operation.

Support Points

Precious Plastic Capi Spain recommends the use of several support points under the Down Plate.

It will extend the life of your moulds. The force exerted on the Down Plate by the pressure of the plastic will be distributed among the support points.
